Over 4000 perished a day in India. One is struck silent.
If that does not tell people it's not over,...and it won't, nothing will. I think NYC peaked at about 1500 a day at the worst of it.It was odd how we grew accustomed to those numbers.
Like the Blitz of London an Australian commentator said of the daily NYC deaths. As I said last year for the world for us this is a major war.
Think of it.
We just lived through a major war.
Not one far away. But right in front of us. People died in my building yards from where I now post. It was an inescapable war.
Millions dead. Over 600,000 here. Economies wrecked.
In one year our republic such as it is. We lost near exactly what we did from WW1 WW2 Korea Vietnam, and the War on Terror combined. Looking now at the totals we come out ahead at the moment by about 10k...more before the year's out.
Yet half the country does not believe it even happened.
We are through as a world leader. It's like mass hysteria a group think distortion of reality. We still have the arms of a super power, but not the mentality...if we ever did.
We're more like selfish bigoted violent teenagers drunk, and with machine guns. That never turns out well.
We're late stage Rome, till recently, under a deranged suspicious ignorant oblivious Emperor, and his liked minded mobs.
Even at my age if I could I'd leave this shit hole,...if there were anywhere to go. ...and there ain't.
