ReplyDeleteI found a series of videos about Bjorn. The creator glosses over his homophobia. They include some recent photos of him looking rather grandfatherly.
In male youth, the phase of divinity is almost always a passing one, as with the richest blossoms. Beauty lives in eternity, but only puts in a brief cameo on earth.

I should have specified: it was not Bjorn who came up with that brilliant phrase, but (I think) the author of the videos. Unless he's quoting somebody else, but I saw no indication of that. Anyway, I think it's true.
