Mom dad uncle the kids. Tribal packs. This is how folks used to travel. Their expressions say they’ve had enough and wanted to go home. My family was like this after a day at Jones Beach. We got up at 6am were on the road before eight got there close to 10. Stayed all day till after the fireworks at dusk. ‘The Great Summer Family Outing’. Like these folks seeing the big city, Times Square by the look. I think that’s a ‘52 Pontiac behind them. Not theirs of course. Only cool folks like Negro’s Beatniks and Librarians had convertibles in them days.
