Matters like peace war or justice are irrelevant. This because we’re too stupid to see doom etched in the skies above. Blind to the dead in the streets. We go about our business fearing hating coveting. Till the ocean crashes through our windows…like Storm Sandy. Till innocents are shot dead as in Bucha and endless other places. Horror and passion will fade. We don’t know how to care long enough to stop this. Glaciers will melt forests will burn. The innocent murdered. Business is business.

ReplyDeleteThe truth of things is actually obvious and easy sez I with no training in political science or philosophy. The static comes because like a leaf in a category 10 Hurricane we're carried along in the chaotic winds of human events.
ReplyDeleteGiven the emotional and irrational baggage of the storm. The truth is a bit muddied. One has to stand outside of the currents to see realities as they actually are.
