When I've been out recently I've seen more Homeless,...more than there were. I just saw a woman worn down by want poverty wandering a street here.
I won't post her image to preserve her dignity.
Want hardship, and time drain the spirit. She's still in there somewhere. I often thought that a kind, and rational sort of government would rescue those like her.
There's whole now vast population like her everywhere now. Rescue. The same way the allies rescued the Concentration Camp survivors. Clean heal feed bring them back. Revive their humanity, and give them the means to a life with dignity. Training, and work for those well enough. A generous pension for those no longer able.
We know this is right. We knew from the first day of this.
Horrible to hear about the homelessness. Lockdowns have devastated the productive economy worldwide, while billionaires' fortunes have swollen immensely.
ReplyDeleteGovernment's not gonna come to our rescue. The stimulus payments might be the last cookies we get from that jar. The real money is locked up in commodities, real estate and financial instruments, and will remain there.

ReplyDeleteI read both Uncle Joe, and Aunt Harris are backing away from anymore stimulus bucks for any of us. Kiss them meals goodbye.
That, and seems they'll let the red states withhold unemployment payments. This to force the poor back into underpaid jobs. 'Guess the poor were eating too regular on the dole.
I assume this is political pragmatism.
What it means is Uncle Joe just betrayed the poor back to hunger.
I did wonder when he'd shove us back under the free market bus.
