"...scam"

Box tops, and neat stuff ya sent away for.

It was just a marketing scam, but it was fun. I sent for all sorts of useless scraps of cardboard, and bright colored plastic geegaws.

Then as below there were the things that came with the cereal.

I can't imagine how it would work today. Would a kid get a free bong in a box of Ganja flakes?

I had them box top frogmen guys...several times over. I used to bite their legs off.

Ya put baking soda on one of their enlarged flippers, and they'd go to town in ya tub.
