Well other than the frightful mayhem I've been on about. 

There's this.

I just found out that most of the Teddy Bears kids had in the UK, and The States during WW2 were from Ireland.

Seems before the Germans began putting children in ovens they used to make most of the Teddy bears for them. 

Go figure.

Maybe China.  Anyway seems Ireland went to bat, and filled the void. With Teddys no longer coming from the Fatherland Ireland made them. They kept the crown into the 1970's.

You can tell them by the slightly triangular faces, and the position of the ears,...almost all had brown eyes. The German Teddys often had blue or green peepers.

So if you're a boomer or older your teddy was, and is Irish.
The Irish,...always there when you need them.
