To the Honorable Acting Director Cuccinelli of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. In regards your wish to alter or remove the Emma Lazarus poem from the Statue of Liberty. “Give me your tired, your poor,/ Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free …” for something whiter. 

I would remind you that your ancestors from Southern Europe were not welcome here by those you now identify with. Indeed they were not seen as white.

Yet they came worked, and became American. 

Further I would add with all due respect to your office which you would never have got since it to has to be approved by Congress. Therefore #45 appointed you as "Acting". 

As I say furthermore, "...Fuck you."
