"...hot night again"
A quick note on two events.
The Court just said republican gerrymandering to keep themselves in power is fine. Then the Dem debates.
The Court.
This will insure republican control of the government for decades to come. I see more electoral college give away events to them no matter how out-voted they are.
The Dem debate mess.
This illustrated what a bunch of useless assholes they all are. They should just concede defeat now, and save us the trouble, and false hope of voting in 18 or so months.
The only reason I watched is that my legs, and feet hurt too much for me to get the remote to shut it all off. Otherwise it was a very hot humid night. I'm turning on the AC so I can now sleep.

"...stunned" 1944 Americans in stunned horror. This as they see 2019 Americans support Nazis.

My suggestion: just stick to watching vids of your favorite movies and TV shows, stuff that makes you happy.
ReplyDeleteThe appropriate attitude toward American electoral politics is despair heavily laced with disdain and a dash of scorn.
What is the difference between Rethuglicans and Dumbocrats? The latter pretend to care about certain carefully selected groups, the former make a point of proudly brandishing their sadism.
Pretty much.
ReplyDeleteI'll hand it to the Republican Nazis though.
They know who they want to fuck, and they screw them with glee. They take the long view. What they are doing now they've planned for over 40 years. They are patient in their cruelty.
Dems are just stupid opportunists.
Most of the terrible things that happened to Blacks for example happened under the Dems. The guys who say they're my pals,...those guys.
The Nazis at least say out front,
"...We want to kill you,...all of you!"
I'd rather fight an obvious enemy than waste time dealing with betraying "friends".
