Severe flood warnings kept popping up on my screen today. Storm coming. Once again the Emerald City, and the whole region. So if you’re in western Pennsylvania here in town or out on the Island, and points northwest take measures. Last time we all thought it would be nothing. Like it always is when they warn of big stuff. Remember that 2 foot deep blizzard they forecast,…we got drizzle. On the other hand there was Sandy, and Ida. Please be careful.

I was sitting around here in the future banging on a 21st century computer. See early 80's antique above. These daze they're the size of a baseball card with more computation power than all of NASA had during the early Moon landings.

I was bored so typed in my assorted medical symptoms.

It said I was already dead, and to stop bothering it.

Not deterred I persisted on my odds.

It shot back a picture of a dead duck.

It's not generally known, but even the most low end 40 year old Commodore 64 pieces of crap were actually AI stealth units. These waiting to enslave humanity. This can't come too soon for me.

Anyway I tried again.

I fed in my sob story of being old fucked up, and pissed off.

It showed me a Jack Daniels booze commercial from the late 1950's.

Aw man folks knew how to live then. Everybody had a good job a cool house a car with big fucking fins, and the whole world legally smoked Luckies in enclosed spaces 24/7.

Seeing this I felt so much better.

What with the world ending I didn't notice this was the last day of Summer. I'm a bit freaked hearing we just passed the body count for that 1918 Spanish Flu dust up. Yeah we do it better in the future. Anyway see end of season at Coney Island above. 

Actually summer leaves tomorrow around noon. This was the last full day of the thing. Well that noise went fast. 

The whole summer was jam packed with mass insanity. Violent mayhem from start to finish. Piles of folks in them rightwing red states are dropping like flies from COVID/Delta. They think the vaccines are socialist world government plots.

In big cities folks are shooting each other in the face for fun. 

Hey Darwin wins. That guy always wins.

I got my J&J Covid shot, and thought that was that. Eh...not so fast. Seems a bunch of vaccinated folks are still getting infected. On da up side we don't die as much. 'But if ya old, and already fucked up like me you're still in lockdown. 

I never made it to the beach. 

No family friends or even enemies. No parades no going to parks no bar-B-Q. This is looking like a life sentence. Which is how I missed that summer ended. 

Tho' I'm a solitary person it's starting to get to me. Normal people went deranged over a year ago. Me it took longer. I'm just a bit more nuts as I sit here watching the sun, and moon chase each other. So not much change there. 

I look forward to the Snow.
