'Loving vs Virginia the first thing I thought of when Justice Thomas killed Roe v Wade. 'Loving' the decision that granted the right to have interracial marriages in this republic. It was illegal since the Constitutional Convention of 1787.
Justice Thomas's marriage is interracial.
Now he gloats over killing the right for women to control their own bodies. He ginned it up by threatening the overturn of Queer Marriage and the re-criminalizing of gay relationships.
The first damned thing the political right did as soon as they had a Court Majority was to take rights away.
It's very clear that one political wing of government takes rights away the other expands them. As I just read: 'This is another 1857 Dred Scott Decision'. This which declared that Blacks were not citizens and thereby had no rights whatever.
As we were forced to 1861. You must now choose your side.
And may the Angels have mercy on this republic.
For now, we vote.
