I wake to a subway train full of people shot up. At least 10 shot 16 injured. Maniac tossed a smoke grenade then opens up. There have been waves of mass shootings across the country for months. But continuous waves are new.

After lockdown murders went through the roof. Low intensity warfare. As we see in countries at war. People adjust to horror.

I posted earlier of another maniac opening up on a crowd I was in. Ten shots...missed us all. I think he was as surprised as us. When you leave your house, you don't know if you're coming back.

We just elected a cop as Mayor. ...great help. He just mumbles about legislation. Swell. The thing about this town though...we go on no matter what. I mean literally. 9/11 Storm Sandy Riots Plague. It's what we do. Be brave watch ya backs and be kind.
