The above as far as I know isn't me.
This noise from da Archives.
A 2017 pre-COVID pre-Trumper Insurrection pre-War Dispatch from the ground level.
Well it started snowing for real with a serious wind going so I went out. Hey who knows when we'll ever see snow again at this latitude thanks to planetary climate fuck ups. First no sane person is out there. They have more sense.
The ground has about 5 inches of assorted somewhat frozen semi-liquids.
There's layers of snow and ice. Near broke my neck...so don't wander out....no really don't. I asked "Bob da Bunny" if he want to go exploring w/me...he said "...Fuck no" and went back to binge watching "Mayberry RFD".
He was up to the lost episode where Aunt Bee made Opie's Klan outfit for his first rally. However she forgot to cut eye holes in the hood, and the stupid little Kluxer wandered into the burning cross. He's enveloped in flame runs screaming into the grandstand sets that on fire which sets the parking lot behind it on fire which has dozens of pick up trucks with large bottles of gasoline for the civil rights church burning after the rally.
Suffice to say "Mayberry" blows up.
I can see why they never let that one out of the can.
Eh,...but I digress.
Anyways I went stumbling about in the winter slop a real sharp wind stirring up. Razored daggers of hail was tearing my face off. I began to wonder if this was a mistake. I was the only idiot out there except for a possible mountain lion, and or insanely large dog which wandered by. A pristine slush field...just like I loves it...except for the large tracks of that demon dog.
I didn't bring my camera...I was pissed off, and not in the mood for taking snaps. So no evidence. Also there's that yeti-dog thing wandering around...another reason not to go back out.
I saw the deli went over and forgot to buy ice cream again. I did get bread, and cheese and some dead meat though. Time for my nap. Yeah I need them these days. I may go out later in the afternoon, and maybe take some snaps then.
Now home and it's looking outside to be doing the blizzard thing after all...maybe not the two feet they hysterically warned, but a respectable eight inches, and who could complain about having eight inches. Anyway that, and with a brisk wind we get a little blizzard after all.
Now to nap.
