The good news. 24 hour service is back in NYC on Monday. COVID is the only thing since 1904~CE that stopped it. Nothing not storms riots or bleeping WW2 stopped NYC 24 hours subway service...then we had COVID.
The bad bleeping news is this country is going through a post-plague spasm of slaughter. Everywhere red or blue folks is unhinged, and going for the throat. Even under normal conditions it's a subway crap shoot as to if you get to your stop alive. However now,...not many bookies would even take your case. I think I'll walk instead.
