"...hope"

I made this a few years ago while in therapy.

I gave it away to my doctor.

I meant for the bird to be flying over dark,

and burning landscapes.

However my inner self took over,

and moved my hands to make the colors of hope.

Sure, but they make good conversationalists.
...when you can get them to talk.

I remember asking one how he could bare the suffering he saw everyday.
He was a thoughtful soulful person. He entered the field for the right reasons.

Despite his profession's legacy of attachments to crowns religions, and chopping heads.
