"...and now for something completely different"

Something has been on my mind for about 50 years. The film "When Worlds Collide". The plot. A planet is about to hit the Earth. Btw this happened at least once before. Something the size of Mars hit us a zillion years back,...bleep'em we're still here.

Anyway,...recall the scene at the end where there are buildings in the distance. Our heroes landed on an inhabited planet. See above...massive wall formations on far left, and two Pyramids on distant right. No mention of any of that as our heroes kiss in the new world's sunset. The End...roll credits.

However them Walls, and Pyramids have been bothering for more than half a century. Okay yeah I know the art director tossed them in for effect...but still. A sequel would be interesting. It's 70 years later. What would the two cultures be now. Humanity would not be conquistadors, but refugees. Which is to say they'd be lunch.
