“…civilized”

The election was not a Blue or Red wave.

It was a Moderate wave. That's what was wanted, and voted in.

A Half Million, and more people perished in the last year.

In context that's Seven Nagasaki's in a row. Our local economies have crashed.

Chaos in the streets. Tens of millions on food lines. However Wall Street is just fine thanks.

People want an end to that.

We voted for that, and an end to governance by twitter.

The good news the air is clearing things slowly changing. Yes there's trouble. The right is enraged that we voted in historic numbers. They are trying to stop us from doing it again.

The left pissed that Uncle Joe is not giving them keys to the car are causing static.

The old tug of war. Normality.

Uncle Joe is appointing smart wonks with connections to the real world. Not incompetent golf buddies or billionaires that contributed to his election. I’ll take boring administrators academics assorted scientists, and career diplomats over Proud Boy Einsatzgruppen rounding up brown children to put in cages.

Government is relatively sane again.

If Uncle Joe, and Aunt Harris don’t blow it we might get somewhere. There's now hard working professionals starting to get desperately needed shit done. The dull yet heroic business of government is back online. Uncle's speech the other day was as terrifying as watching paint dry. Thank gawd!

Our republic just survived a four year long near death experience. I’ll take a civilized compassionate moderate administration over the alternatives. ...Stay tuned.
