The other very early morning it snowed. For real it did. Pure frozen crystals clung with all they had to roofs lawns gardens, and windowsills.
For a time. A very short time.
Then our warm winter reasserted itself, and it began to rain. All was washed away as if it never was. The cycle is clear. Once again warmish weeks a few cold days then back to our man-made tepid "winter".
It is as it is, but this perhaps gives me the most sadness other than what we do to each other. Because this means that we have actually wounded the Earth itself. ...and refuse to stop.
'But be of good cheer for the Earth abides. It once survived in it's early story it survived an impact with a Mars sized object. ...And lived! The Earth survived to bring life again.
So we're no threat. The Earth will right itself, and continue on for several more Billions of years.
...with or without us.
