Movement at the Front.
A Movement of Conscience has spread to all fifty,...50 States. This by people of all colors. This is not a revolution, but an insistence that the one we already had be made real for everyone.
This Republic started with representation given in 1787 to white men of property. Later all white men. Women won suffrage in 1920. Native Americans in 1962. Negros in the American South in 1966.
However as Dr. King said in Chicago in 1965.
"Negros can't vote in many places, and where they can they've no one to vote for."
This goes for Native folks Women, and all the other usual suspects.
We get bad choices when we get a choice at all.
Our Civil War did two basic things.
It settled that we were a united republic, and ended chattel Slavery.
However it didn't bring justice.
That work has been in progress since 1609 when the first Slaves were kidnapped, and brought here. Dr. King said this in the face of that very long effort.
"Let us realize that the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice."
Again, and again the good people of this Republic strived towards that objective. Struggling for the rights of those not wanted. Some of these were reluctantly accepted to the table.
...with conspicuous exceptions.
I don't know if perfect justice is possible. We are a complex ever changing species. However the notion that there are things which are right, and others not is common.
Common even to people we contest with.
Governor of Mississippi George Wallace the champion of American racial Segregation. The very one that stood in the door of the University of Mississippi to stop Black students from attending.
Even he found his way to a better vision.
Even he after hard experience knew what was right. Late in his tumultuous life he asked the Black people of his State, and by extension all Blacks to forgive him.
We did.
Whites need not fear us.
The manipulated American chaos of this century is from white's fear of their fate. They know what they did with their power over others.
They know they're about to become a minority so expect vengeance.
They forget,...We are not you.
We do not hate you.
Hate is self wounding exhausting pointless.
We will remember we still suffer from all that was done.
However we will embrace you as our sisters, and brothers.
From what is happening now, and the next time, and the time after. From all this there will at last be truth, and from it the beginnings of reconciliation.
We are not perfect. We are just people. We can be angry. However we don't hate. We have another vison. One we welcome everyone to share.

They should be sent back to where they came from which is Hell. Why do these idiots talk about "our founding fathers"? That means the Puritan moral freaks that came and destroyed everything they touched. Before them was Columbus who was a murderer worse than Hitler! The Spanish invaders of "Latin" America were killers also that make even the devil look like a benevolent character! Enough of all this bullshit.

That the Native folks are the only actual...well real Natives here is true clear, and obvious. The settler culture is called "settler" for a reason.
ReplyDeleteBtw Blacks are called by some extreme Native activist merely the white man's baggage. The Cherokee expelled all their members with any Black ancestry from their Tribe maybe 10 years ago.
The other tribes were stone silent over it.
As with Hawaiian extremists who want only pure blood islanders to stay. This in reaction to the theft of their Kingdom by settlers...those guys again.
If they got their wish the Island would have a rather tiny population...same here. Pure blood Natives are few,...if they exist considering what was done to them.
Most Cherokee's are white descended now,...explains their No Nigger's policy. Btw Pure blood African Americans by now are also nearly extinct.
My ancestry is African Asian Native, and Scots-Irish.
Such is the nature of the American experience.
Despite what Fox everyday implies.
The path of human culture is clear from the ice Age to now.
A slow coming together. Tribalism evolving into a single species identity. From many camp fires to one.
Like all the other Mammals...mostly.
Tune back in say 5000 years from now. ...and yes we will still be here. It turns out we are not capable of destroying everything after all. We turned off industry for a few months.
The Earth rapidly began healing herself.
Imagine if it stayed off for 50 years...the earth would be very near pristine again.
Even a full on Nuke war won't wipe us or the planet out.
In a generation or two as Chernobyl showed. Not the centuries or millennia supposed. The Earth would start to come back, and so would a very few of us.
...just no Netflix.
So tune in about five grand from today.
I imagine it will be different.
