To celebrate the end of curfew or just that it's summer, and they're young. 

The kids have been shooting off rockets all over Brooklyn, and Queens for some days now. 

See example. This detonated a few minutes ago by my living room window.

We did the same thing as kids. 

Though we had just fire crackers, and a few bottle rockets. These popped about 20 feet in the air. 

The ordinance these kids use could bring down fighter planes. 

I just love tradition

The bombardment continues at my windows. 

As kids set off rockets'...some with a red glare. 

Since I can't get to Coney Island for the fireworks this will more than do.
