The COVID-19 adventure continues. The Boss of the Brits sez 80% of the species will get this shit. There's a now 2% fatality rate. Though the WHO/CDC are sticking with 1% for now...fuck'em. 85 countries have the thing,...Pandemic.
Anyway the UK is making ready for the worst if it gets to that.
Whole cities locked down as in China the military backing up police all that. This since cops like everybody else are going to get sick. The UK foresees one fifth of their work force out ill at the first peak. This during early summer.
It will level off in the hot months, but resurge into fall, and winter with a second, and they fear more harsh round then. They're talking a prolonged pandemic,...AIDS went on with no treatment for well over a decade killing millions.
Btw the southern hemisphere is going into their fall soon winter. This will play hell with their numbers it's feared. Many nations down there are getting their first cases as the summer heat fades.
I have Facebook pals in Australia, and South Africa that are bracing as their first cases are showing up.
Those governments are thankfully taking this shit serious. Taking hints for a response from China, and South Korea.

I read that local jails have early released many prisoners for the same reason.

However before that happens they'll spread the virus to any, and all. The government claims 11 dead. A video shows 32 filled body bags from COVID deaths in just one hospital.

As for me I still have the regular flu. Weeks now. Very weak all that. On the up side being a shut-in as I mentioned earlier they'll be no real change in my lifestyle.

Who are we?
