"The Queer Adgenda"
I have no idea if the artist meant this as remotely Queer.
It looks sweetly Queer to me.
It'd look certainly suspicious to any Evangelical Nazi.
So it'll do till I find something else.
Always meant to learn to make images with the computer.
I'm very old school. Above I use nib pens, and India Ink.
Drawn, and also printed on mixed rag paper.
My items my well long outlast the myriad of one's, and zero's.
Those that make up newer dreams.
I like it. Since I gather this style and theme were invented by Japanese women with yaoi-loving tendencies, I'm assuming there is a queer subtext.
ReplyDeleteI imagine that crypto-queer might be the way to go with images, for this time in history. Those who want to see the theme can do so readily enough, and those who don't can pretend not to notice. It's not ideal, but it's a proven survival tactic and much fine art has been preserved in this way.
I'm counting fourteen kitties, including the ones in the lads' ice cream dishes.
Sorry - thirteen.
ReplyDeleteWow...sharp eyes there.
ReplyDeleteI missed the ice cream Kitty.
We persevere. We'' make art no matter the thugs. I will...the adjustment will be minor. those like you with a sharp eye will see it for what it truly is.
The drones, and book burners will be blind to it.
Their brains aren't wired for beauty.
they are Blind to it.
Which is how Beauty has survived the ages.
Btw sorry for getting to your comments so late.
ReplyDeleteKnocked flat by the flu,...the regular flu.
The Big One ain't hit here yet.
