"...nights"

Cathedral of Saint John the Divine. 126 years under construction, and still building. 
Back in the day these took centuries as will this one. 
A decade ago during my Houseless year they took me in fed me gave me peaceful nights.

  1. Though I don't like to admit it, charity is basically a Christian concept. The Greeks and Romans didn't have it to speak of. Hospitality, yes - receiving a stranger hospitably was viewed favorably by Zeus; charity, not so much.

  2. Actually yeah Charity the concept of forgiveness even a sustained sort of loving kindness all come from various manifestations of the christian cult.

    A sense that literacy might be a good idea as well. At least from a few peripheral sects.

    Mind you all these are actively suppressed or distorted for reasons of control by the powerful branches of the faith.
