ReplyDeleteSpeaking of anime, here today Dec 16 2019 on NHK English News podcast that this INDUSTRY is a 20 Billion in US dollars a year deal. 8 Billion USD of that 20 B is in international sales.
In other words, this is big bucks.
Speaking of big bucks, i read last month that big music groups, band like U2 snd The Stones, take un around 500 Million to 600 Million USD doing a world tour. Maybe 3 or 4 months of hard work.
Someone is making money in making doing art.
It's not art, and hasn't been in decades. However yes they, and theirs are hauling in tubs of dough.
