I am far more disturbed by the destruction of the Brongersma Archive than I am by the fire at Notre Dame.
ReplyDeleteThe destruction of the Brongersma archive was a state-sponsored *crime*, a vicious suppression of scientific enquiry and intellectual freedom, and a sickening betrayal of the sacred trust to conserve irreplaceable documents and art works. The Dutch should be eternally ashamed of it.

My idea is this. If it gives me an orgasm or if I can eat it, or if I can live in it, then I like it a lot. Art is a joke. You can empty all the art places and let people sleep there and eat there and have sex there. OK? Just telling you my idea.
