"Redemption"

This time of year many cultures express a sense of renewal. Is it
possible despite all that's happened, and been done that #45 might be shown to embrace this.
If a private citizen should speak to the President of the United States of America. They should not waste his time with what he already knows.
This since a world leader's time is measured in lives.

So this citizen this person should simply ask the President. Ask if he could be kind. Kind when possible merciful when possible, and generous where appropriate.
Not by vast programs, but by his personal acts.
This to those around him, and those he meets in the course of his duties.

Given the times, and his apparent nature this may be something he never considered. Something as I said that he didn't already know.
The notion of kindness even forgiveness in the context of vast power.

This could be his redemption, and ours.
