"...Queer Dolls II"

Every girl or boy should have a Faerie Doll.
That is their very own Sissy Doll.
This to love, and cherish.
If I had one in my Boyhood.
Things may have been just a bit less hellish.

I might not have tried to kill myself.
This by shoving my hand through a window.
Some others succeeded back then.
As they do now.

Queer kids are as always an endangered species.
Everything, and everyone is trying to change them.
If they can't they kill them.
That or drive them to forms of madness.
I speak from experience.
More than a few of you are also survivors.

"...notions"

An Angel is an 'act' not a person.
A verb not a noun.
We are Angels through out acts our examples.

"...magic"

I just saw this photo, and had a notion for a little story. I'd open the doors put a quarter in the slot. Then get in say the magic words, and fly that thing the hell out of here. Fly far far away.

"...spring"

Though on this day a year ago we had a snow storm.
It is nonetheless now Spring.
Longer brighter days.
Perhaps even Hope.

"...story"

I waited till late to go out for a walk. The image is my local Parish Church. Saint Matthews. Dark locked empty. The Nuns used to tell us that g-d lived in there. I always wondered if g-d was lonely in that big place all alone in the middle of the night. There's a story in that somewhere. Be well be safe.

"...brave"

A FB memory. Another installment of my Plague Journal from a year ago today.

I've been living in semi-isolation since retirement. I was such a public person for decades before that. Strange that much of the world now joins me in this solitary way of life.
I can hear my neighbors all the time now. Apartment life. I'm more used to their active comings, and goings.
Now like me they're always home.
I got earplugs at the drug store. Still no masks nor rubbing alcohol. Everyone rinses their hands with that when they can get it.
Streets were noticeably slower quieter today. I heard our Ice Cream truck making it's appearance. It came, and went quickly,....not much walk in business.
Been watching City-Cams around the world. Italian cities look empty,...like in a sci/fi movie. Seattle the same. Various cities around the world are in various stages of slowing down.
We are witnessing history.
A history that is moving faster than we're used to. For the first time I'm more than concerned. When I went to the Hospital earlier this week. This to get checked up, and renew my meds. I saw things. Whole sections closed off.
Bright orange signs saying "Special Procedure Area. No Admittance". That, and security there. They're getting ready. There's going to be great sickness, and death here.
We know that knew that we all did. It's was just seeing this that changed things. Made it finally viscerally real.
I have the same feeling we all had in the Emerald City when Storm Sandy was inching it's way here. Apprehension. Will it be as hard as they say or will it just blow past. We have to be ready.

Brave cautious, and kind.

“…home”

This morning I had a memory of something my mother told us when we were little. This from during WW2. The Western Union boy, and then it was boys. They’d bike onto the block, and everyone knew what this meant. People would watch to see where he’d stop praying it wasn’t their house. The kid would go to a door. Then there’d be crying, and such. This as news that a son brother or father had been killed in action. This was that war at home.
