I used to have great hopes for holograms as an art form, but they didn’t really take off or go anywhere. Still, I like the holographic paradigm; it’s like Indra’s web of raindrops, each containing within it an image of the whole. It’s fractal; it’s recursive.

I feel the same. It never became...so far...the artform we imagined. It's progressed in form greatly but oddly no one cares. Except for that little spot on our credit and bank cards it seems forgotten.
