The Current manipulated phase of the American Culture War is about personhood. Who is a person with dignity and rights and who is not? Both sides falling into extremes have shut off conversation. Even to mention a topic is to be a guilty adherent of it. Information stopped conversation shut down. These the very things that stop bigotry.

Gays Trans folks and the many other identities. They exist have always existed. 'All' the many varieties of personhood understood or not are worthy of dignity. They weren't just invented to serve of momentary news cycles. They were always with us.

The good thing is now those identities are at least talked about. ...if poorly understood. Better information. Thoughtful reasoning. Calm rational 'free speech' not shut down by any side. So we can talk without rage. Find common grounds. This to give 'all' the dignity they should have been granted at birth.

There are so many contending ways of life. All thinking there's is right and 'normal'. Like the multiverse it's rather larger and far simpler than that. Hold to patients' compassion and rationality. No matter if triggered. Such might get us through this.

There's a reason 'Truth and Reconciliation' often works. Hearing each other's stories. Understanding how we became who we are. Such is a beginning to better understand our many human natures which are 'vast and wonderful'.
