Above the only known image of B-52 serial number DH-607l995. This as it appeared over Elmendorf AFB Alaska. The aircraft appeared as it came through a space/time rift from an alternate timeline. One where Ukraine got white hot and WW3 ignited. 

The actual DH-6071995 was still on the ground at its base in Iowa as this happened. The alternate B-52 did not respond to hails. It was tracked to a target in nearby Siberia where it dropped its bombs. 

Fortunately, both the plane, and the falling warheads both re-entered the rift before detonation. Returning to its timeline, and we assume a nuclear war still in progress.
