There's a Belgian engineer who's worked out an airship - like a zeppelin, but no rigid framework - that's designed to stay airborne indefinitely. It's slow, not fast, and quiet. I like the quiet. For food you grow a big mushroom on board - a terribly limited diet, but nutritious they say. I don't know how you refuel. I'd never come down. These days life on earth is a giant mummified donkey dick, so who needs it? I'd be happy with an old collection of blue flicks on DVD and a nice onboard library. For thrills I'd build an ultralight aircraft like the one John Denver got himself killed in.
