"...gay"

It's the second day of 2021,...so far so good. It's very chilly, and windy in the Emerald City. Warm for winter, but still. 46f~7c with wind chills in the 30's. As in Narnia it's always winter, but never Christmas.

Speaking of which these last few days I've been watching old musicals on DVD,...yeah I still watch them things. Yesterday "Oklahoma" today "South Pacific". Both seriously swell. 

I first saw South Pacific in movies. 

This before TV became common. Every Saturday my Ma would gave me a quarter to go watch the kiddy matinee. It's how I saw all them classic 50's greats like "Earth vs the Flying Saucers".

South Pacific was another matter.

See I never had any idea what would be playing...I just went. Well that time a whole world opened up to me. "I'm in love with a marvelous guy" indeed. 

I thought it was a war movie. Sure sounded like one. It was a bit different. It was in the war, but there was alot of other stuff going on. I liked what I saw, and was gay even since. I got born that wat, but ya gets the idea. The thing had it's moments.
