It's 9:03 am September 11th. The South Tower was struck at this exact time 19 years ago. The radio station I worked for was just blocks away. At night between shifts I'd just stand on Maiden Lane, and watch the Towers. At night you could hear them hum,...they hummed. They were so bright. Blue green. They seemed alive. All powerful.
