When I was a lad about 348 years ago such as this would have been unimaginable. Literally I never imagined this. A boy in his room with a Queer flag, and his folks knowing, and maybe taking him to a Queer parade. Those in my time lived in quiet hell. This with everyone around me saying how much they wanted to find beat up, and or kill some "Fruits".
My cousins among these monsters.
So despite everything some few uncertain bits of progress.
Though Dionysian Queerdom is now hated
hunted persecuted with straight homophiles cheering on the mobs.
The price that was paid for Assimilation.
"We're just like you."
Yes they are just like the people that once,
and will yet to continue to torment, and murder them.
To ascend to the level of Greek civilization, we have a long long way to go.
ReplyDeleteI'd settle for the summer of 1959.
ReplyDeleteThe last time I can remember not being fucked over by anybody.
My last safe year.
After that,...well it's given me great material for stories.
That was a distinguished year, IMHO.
ReplyDeleteEveryone I've found had at least one good, and kind year.
ReplyDeleteMine was 1959.
There's folks out there having theirs right this moment,...even in all this. Bless them.
