It seems to be out of control in NY. Is this because NYC delayed locking down just a week longer than CA? I don't know. But nationwide we're getting to have triple the cases that Chine ever did, with a quarter of their population. Clearly we've fucked up big time.
ReplyDeleteFor the last thirty years our rulers and their owners have been too busy nursing their globalist agenda to supply us with test kits, face masks or rubber gloves, nor do we seem to have the manufacturing capacity to make our own in the available time frame. The CDC has finally gotten around to admitting that wearing masks is actually a good idea. To have denied this while the bug was spreading for two months is an amazing display of lethally epic jackassery.
We're pretty much on our own. This is a lesson that the federal response to Katrina back in '05 should have taught us. We probably ought to treat this as a test run for still worse pandemics to come.

That's how Bush lost to a Black Senator who had only served half a term.
#45 is in keeping with the republican ideology of government staying out of local affairs like Bush did. No matter the body count.
One hopes our current head of state meets the same fate as Mr. Bush. Assuming there are enough of us left to form a quorum to vote.
