Washington whose contradictory spirit still leads us in Union Square park.
I went out today to downtown. This to pick up my new phone, and assorted supplies. There were folks about...more behind masks now. Traffic very light. Only a few allowed into shops at a time. That, and many closed altogether.I felt a calmness here in the Emerald City. Beneath grey skies a quietness. Life went on, but with a difference. An awareness. Still there was a common good humor. Friendly helpfulness about. I came home with a good feeling. Folks were positive, and easy to laugh. You all be well.

Nobody wants it.
