If there was any grass out there even in a winter heatwave I'd cut it today. Just to keep my sanity. I hate what we've become I hate what's happening now , and what's going to happen. I support no one for 2020 just like there was no one in 2016. This is just a re-run. Still I'm 'forced' to vote dem because there's no choice. I expect nothing from them either, but they may not put me in a cage if I'm lucky.
Sorry to hear the winter's been a disappointment. I'd be happy to send you all our cold weather. I love the sunshine myself.
ReplyDeleteBTW, yesterday I came down with a horrible flu. Last night was one of intense suffering, with several hours of hideous nausea. All I can do is hope it doesn't come back. I hope you're avoiding all that.
It's been so warm this winter that I've come down with nothing.
ReplyDeleteWe had several winter-like days maybe a weeks worth since November. Only went below freezing twice, and only for a few hours each time.
Even the TV weather hacks are admitting that the changed climate is behind this. They did a graph of winters for NYC over the last 15 years. It's scarier than I had realized.
Basically as he said our winters are now the,..."same as those in northern Georgia". We used to have the same winters as, "...southern Canada". So like I say scarier than I thought.
It was so gradual most didn't realize.
I'm sorry you're coming down with stuff.
I well recall how debilitating that is.
Rest liquids, and read...no histories or politics.
Stick to decent science fiction...ya can't go wrong with that stuff.
