"Our story thus far,..."

This has happened. Black youths, and children have been shot dead over the years by cops. This for holding candy bars their housekeys balls groceries school books, and other common items. ...all were mistaken for guns. 
To my knowledge such "mistakes" have not happened to many white kids. Possibly none.

But who cares. Since it still happens without serious notice. I almost never speak on race matters because there's no point. 
As you recall I somewhat down played my getting roughed up by cops two years back. 
I only bring this up because of continued incidents around the country some fatal most violent all traumatizing.
