"Trooper"

Speaking of Birthdays. My ma got me a "Howdy Doody"
marionette for my 6th Birthday.
A mere 468 years ago.
If I still had it I could eBay it for the Gross National
Product of Belize.
I left it out in the yard, and it rained overnight. Next day I looked all over the house for the little guy. Eventually I found him in the yard.

Seems Howdy was made of pressed painted cardboard.
There he was face down in the mud,...but 'still' smiling.
Gawd what a trooper he was!

  1. WTF AMERIKA?!?!?!?
"Eeny, meena, mina, mo, Catch a nigger by the toe; If he hollers let him go, Eena, meena, mina, mo."
This version was similar to that reported as the most common version among American schoolchildren in 1888. It was used in the chorus of Bert Fitzgibbon's 1906 song "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Mo".

  2. Yes I know this.

It was sung at me in the school yard by a crowd of white kids. This at a catholic school. But what does it have to do with Howdy Doody,...he wasn't in the Klan too was he?
