Moments. I remember the Twin Towers. During my overnight shifts at a nearby radio station. I'd take breaks and stand on Maiden Laine. A colonial side street. I'd watch the Towers. They were blue green at night. They hummed as if alive. They sang as they reached to the heavens.

There's a Maiden Lane in San Francisco. It's right off of Union Square. On it there's a shop by Frank Lloyd Wright. The interior of the shop is just like a miniature Guggenheim Museum: the sloping spiral ramp, exactly the same, only on the scale of a small retail interior. Nice wood paneling too, if I recall correctly; it's a been a long time. I'm sure quite a few businesses have been housed there over the decades. I suppose it's a preliminary study or a dry run for the much more famous building. But I kind of prefer this one. I think I could live in it pretty happily.
