ReplyDeleteI've read or heard somewhere that for a time Trotsky was in charge of the Soviet military. He doesn't look like he'd be a good commander-in-chief, but apparently he was.
Trotsky killed people; he wasn't nice, and I won't say he didn't have it coming. But Stalin offing him overseas still doesn't look too good.
