The Emerald City is getting the deadly backwash
of the west coast forest infernos.
If these were nukes going off this would be the fallout.
It looks just as scary as the projections for same.
The air has the aroma of burning trees.
This as forests from California to British Colombia
are vaporizing up into the atmosphere.
I was out walking with my sister downtown.
Because of Lockdown.
We hadn't seen each other in a year, and a half.
We had to go back to her place.
We were both gasping from the air
Fuzzy from the extreme heat.
Our sunsets are now vivid. See above.
This as the fallout has caused a humid inversion.
NYC is now like a big room with no windows.
It's 100 degrees, and full of smoke.
That, and everybody in that room
is beating stabbing, and shooting each other.

Yep. We had decades since the 1970's when it was obvious we were the ultimate cause. Industry fought it tooth, and nail using media to get folks not to believe.

Death all around us, but don't believe your eyes...believe us.
In both cases half did, and that was more than enough to bring us to this. In the 90's they forecast exactly what is happening now. However they said it would happen in the late 21st early 22nd century.
It's come 70 years early.
Species suicide for money, and power.
I won't live to see it, but one day there will be trials.

Late in this century when whole nations start vanishing due to Earth changes. Changes we could if not stopped perhaps controlled even lessened. This if we started the healing 50 years ago. Those still living that helped this disaster along will face justice.
In my fucking dreams.
What will really happen is the Earth goes into triage.
The rich that did this will go one as usual. Only in luxury domes, and bio safe zones. All protected by their private armies. Which they have been quietly...before our eyes, been forming for a while. That, and in orbit in wealth enclaves that are starting even now.
My grand nieces, and nephews, and their kids will be living in a Soylent Green hell,...if they're lucky.
