However I wonder at the dead Christmas tree. By the lamp on right. How long has it been there? Could it be a survival from when this was a normal room. I envision a "before' image from say a decade ago. When this was an ordinary living room. With an easy chair, and a Christmas tree by the window. Everybody, and everything has a history. We are not as we began, and will not remain as we are.
