"...fleeing"

If history were just very slightly different. In which Brown, and Black people were fleeing America instead of trying to come in. 
If peoples of Color were crossing the Mexican, and Canadian borders. Fleeing to these countries in numbers. This searching for a better life.

Would such be called a National Emergency?

An American form of Peace, and Reconciliation is so needed.  Face to face we need to tell each other our truths. I say "Truths" because there are so many, and they contradict. 

There is so much hard history,...Centuries.

It is so complex so bound up in the infinite pathways of the human heart. This is our only out. Our only way to even begin to heal.
